Outline of Research at the Start

日本人と外国人それぞれから見た日本の住生活文化の魅力に関する調査を行い、その比較検討を行うことによって、「愛着」や「落ち着き」といった目に見えない魅力がどこから生まれているのかを検討する。
さらに、新学習指導要領において、児童・生徒はどのような資質・能力をつけていくことが求められるのか、教師は何をどのように教えて行くことが重要なのか、を明らかにした上で、様々な教科担当の教員を対象として担当教科における和の住生活文化に関連した内容の扱いに関する調査を行う。
最後に、教科間の関連を視野に入れ、生活を総合的に捉えた「和の住生活文化の継承・創造についての学習」の教材開発と教育プログラムを構築する。
