Outline of Research at the Start

数学における論理・論証は世界共通であるという"常識”があるが，本研究ではその"常識”を問い直し，授業の国際比較を通して数学的論証活動の言語的・文化的固有性を明らかにすることを目指す。本研究の仮説は，言語・文化圏の違いによって，数学的論証活動の構造・様式・機能に多様性が存在し，それが各国特有の言語活動スタイルを形成している，ということである。この仮説を検証するため，数学教育学の第一線の海外研究者との協働により，数学的論証活動の国際比較を可能とする理論的枠組みを構築し，比較文化的視点から実証的研究を行う。
