Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では強磁性体・反強磁性体に次ぐ第3の磁性体として注目される交替磁性体を取り上げ，交替磁性を特徴付ける秩序変数・感受率・ドメイン構造の測定を行う．交替磁性は時間反転対称性が破れている一方で，自発磁化は生じないクラスの磁性体として定義された概念である．本研究ではピエゾ磁気効果を利用して交替磁性の起源の解明を目指す．
