Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、高齢者・障害者を含めて誰もが安全・安心・快適に夜間の外出活動に参加しやすい夜のバリアフリーのまちづくり実現のために重要な都市と交通の要素を多様な個人属性別に検討し、バリア緩和のための都市・交通施策が人々の外出しやすさ、生活の質向上に与える影響を定量的に評価することを目的とする。夜特有のバリアと心のバリアフリーを考慮した新たなアクセシビリティ指標、活動・交通シミュレーターおよび個人の幸福感モデルを開発するとともに、地方都市繁華街をケーススタディとしたバリア緩和実証実験の効果も検証する、理論的かつ実践的な研究である。
