Outline of Research at the Start

研究の背景として、都市環境と健康に関する研究の蓄積、Well-beingへの関心の高まり、都市開発の健康影響に関する評価研究の不足、に焦点を当て、健康・Well-being価値を高める都市デザインがある、という仮説のもと、健康・Well-beingと都市環境の関係の解明、望ましい都市環境を享受できる広域的な生活行動の解明、都市デザインとしての実践と評価、を目指す。健康・well-being価値を高める都市デザインのための疫学研究と実践評価を推進し、超高齢化社会、持続可能社会における望ましい都市環境・都市生活の視座を得ることを到達点とする。
