Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、消費社会、情報社会の次に来る社会のありようとして、人々の自然な創造性が発現する社会としての創造社会を措定し、その創造社会を支えるための都市デザインについて、目標・道具・職能の三つの観点から、歴史的文脈と現状を明らかにし、これからの都市デザイン運動の基盤を構築すること目的とする。つまり、都市デザインはどのような都市（社会）を目指すのか、都市デザインの実践のために必要な取り組みはどのようなものか、都市デザインの実践の担い手は誰か、を問う。そして、目標、道具、職能からの検討を一つの運動的な都市デザイン像として統合する。
