Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、片麻痺者と車いす使用者の火災時の避難安全の実現に向け、身体機能に適応した防火戸の仕様を明らかにする。さらに、この防火戸を適用できる建築計画・防災計画の提案を目的とする。研究方法は片麻痺者と車いす使用者を被験者とする防火戸の通行実験とアンケート調査である。片麻痺者と車いす使用者は戸の開閉が困難な障がいの一つであり、両者に対応する戸を研究・開発することにより、多様な障がいのある人の使用に対応できるユニバーサルデザイン防火戸の提案に発展させることができ、その機能を活かす建築計画と防災計画の提案を行うことで、障がい者の社会進出を安全の視点から支援する。
