Outline of Research at the Start

申請者の日本国内における古代比定地研究に基づき、朝鮮半島の歴史文書に記載された古代地名比定地をまとめ、特定された比定地の物理環境を文献と現地双方から調査し、かつ日本との比較分析を行う。これによって日韓を包含する東アジアの歴史的生存環境の立地特性を複眼的に明らかにする。
特に朝鮮半島南部は、日本書紀がその交渉史を詳細に示すごとく、本邦の古代文明に最も直接的な影響を与えた地域のひとつである。日韓それぞれにおける古代に記録され、現在でもいまだ存続する地域の立地特性を比較考察することによって、日韓、ひいては東アジアを通じた古代的生存環境の風景を描き、その成果が実地な共感的理解を涵養しうると考える。
