Outline of Research at the Start

近年、男性ホルモン（アンドロゲン）の作用低下が、男性の寿命にまで影響する要因となることが明らかになってきた。本研究は、アンドロゲンの健康への作用について身体・精神の両側面を検証する。さらに、主要アンドロゲンであるテストステロンの産生を増加させる機構の解明にも取り組む。本研究は、健康寿命の延伸に資するアンドロゲンの作用について科学的エビデンスを提供し、アンドロゲン増強という応用展開への道を拓くための基礎となることが期待される。
