Outline of Research at the Start

大陸におけるツキノワグマの保全を最終目標に、以下の3課題を目的とする。
1.　大陸全域のツキノワグマの全ゲノム解析により種内亜種構成とその分布状況を整理する。
2.　亜種ごとの分布拡大の変遷を明らかにする。また、亜種ごと地域集団ごとにクマ科の他種との雑種化の歴史およびその遺伝的影響を評価する。
3.　亜種ごと・地域ごとの過去の個体数変動と遺伝的多様性および有害変異蓄積量を推定する。
