Outline of Research at the Start

「排便中枢は複数の脳領域が協調して働くことで機能する脳領域ネットワークである」という仮説を立証するために、本研究では組織透明化とライトシート顕微鏡という最先端技術を用いて、排便に関わる全ての脳領域をスクリーニングし、排便中枢の本態を明らかにすることを目指す。本研究により、この分野の研究を飛躍的に進展させ、ストレスによる排便障害の病態の解明、新たな治療法・予防法の開発に貢献することを目的とする。
