Outline of Research at the Start

齧歯目、ウサギ目、霊長目を含む複数の哺乳動物種においてインプリントームマップを作成・比較し、各インプリント遺伝子の成立時期や、LTRなど特定配列の挿入といった成立要件を明らかにする。さらに、種特異的インプリント遺伝子の進化的背景を検討し、コンフリクト仮説との整合性を再検証する。これにより、インプリント遺伝子の進化的および機能的意義の包括的理解を目指す。
