Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、ゲノム縮小に対する遺伝的および環境的補完条件を解明することを目指している。ゲノム縮小大腸菌を対象に、実験進化と機械学習を用いてゲノム配列の最適化と生存環境である培地構成の最適化をそれぞれ行い、ゲノム縮小に対する遺伝的及び環境的補完条件を明らかにする。その補完機構を遺伝子モジュールで説明することで、最小ゲノムの解明と理解に貢献する。
