Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では植物の生存に必要不可欠なメリステム（分裂組織）の運命決定・維持を制御する分子基盤を明らかにすることを目的として，１）植物ホルモン・オーキシン誘導性LBD転写因子群（Ai-LBDs）によるメリステム運命決定の機構，及び２）mRNAアデノシンメチル化修飾（m6A）付加因子AMB2/MTAと新規DNA損傷修復因子AMB1によるDNA損傷応答を介したメリステムの維持機構，を明らかにする。
