Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、細胞内の不要物を分解する小器官「リソソーム」へ、酵素などのタンパク質が正しく運ばれる仕組みの解明を目指す。特に、糖鎖修飾を行う酵素GNPTや、それを認識する受容体の細胞内での位置を明らかにし、リソソームタンパク質の選別と輸送経路に関わる分子を特定することで、細胞がもつ精密な輸送プログラムの全体像に迫る。
