Outline of Research at the Start

ヘルペスウイルスのDNA複製に関わる2種のタンパク質複合体（複製開始点認識複合体とhelicase-primase複合体）の立体構造と機能を、クライオ電子顕微鏡と計算科学を用いて解析する。得られた知見は、既存薬が効きにくいヘルペスウイルスに対する新しい抗ウイルス薬の開発につながることが期待される。
