Outline of Research at the Start

固有ニッチを離れ浸潤して転移がん幹細胞となる過程に働くニッチ細胞側とがん幹細胞側の因子を統合的に解析する。＜1＞　幹細胞ニッチの変容　＜2＞　転移組織におけるがん幹細胞性維持機構　＜3＞がん幹細胞遺伝子のスプライシング切り替え　の三点に特に着目した研究を通じて、転移がん幹細胞の成立と根源的がん幹細胞性制御に関わる分子機構を明らかにすることで、すい臓がんや卵巣がんなどの難治がん克服のための真の分子標的の同定を目指す。
