Outline of Research at the Start

LRBAは免疫チェックポイント分子であるCTLA-4受容体の膜輸送量を制御するアンカータンパクであり、LRBA欠損症ではCTLA-4を細胞膜へ輸送できず免疫恒常性に破綻をきたす。AlphaFoldを用いてLRBAの構造を予測すると種々のタンパク―タンパク結合ドメインを有していたが、CTLA-4以外にLRBAが活性を制御する膜タンパクは不明である。本研究ではLrbaノックアウト・ノックインマウスを用いてLRBAが標的とする膜タンパク群を明らかにし、免疫以外の新規表現型がLRBA欠損症患者においても認められるかを疾患レジストリを構築して明らかにする。
