Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、がんや自己免疫疾患の原因となる異常細胞のみを標的とする新規治療薬の開発を目的とする。従来のイムノトキシンは正常細胞にも有害で用量制限があり、十分な効果が得られなかった。そこで、研究代表者が開発したRAS分子に作用するタンパク質を用い、正常細胞への影響を極力抑えながら、がん細胞に対して高い殺傷効果を発揮するイムノトキシンを設計・評価する。これにより、安全かつ精密な治療法の確立を図る。
