Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は歯周炎における歯槽骨破壊のメカニズム解明を目指します。破骨細胞分化を誘導する歯根膜中のCxcl5陽性間葉系細胞に焦点を当て、その細胞系譜、制御因子を解析します。細胞系譜解析とシングルセルRNA-seqやATAC-seqを組み合わせ、生体内での細胞の由来や制御機構を明らかにします。本研究により、歯周炎に特異的な骨破壊の理解が深まり、予防法開発の基盤となる知見が得られることが期待されます。
