Outline of Research at the Start

歯を失った場合の究極の治療法として期待される歯の再生技術を確立するためには，その発生における総合的な理解を深めることが重要である。本研究では，iPS細胞が歯の細胞を形成する過程で力学刺激が時計遺伝子の発現に影響を及ぼす可能性に着目する。本研究の目的は，iPS細胞から歯を形成する際のキーとなり得る概日リズム機構を探求し，iPS細胞を用いた歯の再生技術の基盤を確立することである。
