Outline of Research at the Start

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of graphic health warnings (GHWs) and pharmacist-led lifestyle counseling in reducing tobacco use and improving health outcomes in Bangladesh and Pakistan. Through a randomized controlled trial (RCT) involving over 10,000 smokers, we will assess the impact of these interventions on smoking cessation, blood pressure, diabetes, and quality of life. The results will inform low-cost, scalable strategies to support tobacco control and noncommunicable disease (NCD) prevention in resource-limited settings.
