Outline of Research at the Start

女性の健康を考えるうえでは，女性ホルモンの影響などを考慮した、生涯を通じた視点からの研究が重要である。本研究では、20年以上追跡調査を継続している2つのコホート研究データを用い，更年期以降の女性の健康課題である更年期障害および生活習慣病について，個別化したヘルスケアについて検討する。更年期障害については，諸症状をリスク因子などからサブグループ分類し，各サブグループに対する予防法などを提案する。また，生活習慣病については，生活習慣だけでなく，周閉経期以前の生殖機能関連事象や婦人科疾患もリスク因子と捉え，ライフステージに応じた発症および進展の予防法につながるエビデンスを創生する。
