Outline of Research at the Start

脳の視床下部領域の主要な機能として正常な食欲や体重、血糖値の維持が挙げられる。また、情動や認知機能の制御も行っている。本研究においては、脳の視床下部に全身の栄養状態を伝達する内分泌システムに着目した研究を実施する。主要な脂質成分としてグリセロール骨格に脂肪酸が３つ結合したトリアシルグリセロールが知られているが、リパーゼ消化によって生体内で様々な構造をとることが予想される。そこで私たちは、生体内の内分泌システムがどのように脂質の構造を認識しているのか、その実態を明らかにすることを目的としている。
