Outline of Research at the Start

この研究では、ブラウザと仮想計算機(VM)を融合し VM で Linux 等の汎用OSを実行することで、プログラム実行環境としてのブラウザを跳躍的に進化させる。サーバから送られてきたイメージを実行するVMを従来のWebAssemblyで記述されたものより高速化する。利用者が拡張機能として指定したイメージを実行するVMではブラウザ内のデータを利用するプログラム Ruby 等の一般のスクリプト言語で簡単に記述可能にする。
