Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、申請者が取り組んできたカーストとダリト運動研究を共同研究によってさらに発展させるかたちで、1990年代以降顕著となったグローバル化、ネオ・リベラリズム的価値観、そしてヒンドゥー・ナショナリズムの台頭が、北インドのダリトを事例としてどのような影響を与えているのか、ダリト運動の協働性、そして現代インドの政治・社会、人びとのカースト意識にどのような変化をもたらしているのかという問いを包括的に検討することである。
