Outline of Research at the Start

高齢化が深刻化する日本とタイにおいて、地域の状況にあった介護予防の推進が求められている。本研究は、日タイの両フィールドにおいて、高齢者の「共食・口腔機能・会話の相互作用」のメカニズムを明らかにし、これを活かした介護予防への実践展開を行うことを目的とする。
コロナ禍以前に収集したデータを活用しながら、共食・口腔機能・会話の状況が高齢者の包括的健康度にどのように関連するか分析することで、コロナ禍での社交機会の減少等の影響が明らかになる。最終的な目標は、研究連携してきた自治体の保健ボランティアらと共に、高齢者福祉事業の実情をふまえながら持続可能な介護予防プログラムを構築していくことである。
