Outline of Research at the Start

小規模漁業従事者は、地域社会・経済の維持に欠かせない存在であるにもかかわらず経済規模が小さいことから過小評価されている。また、漁師だけでなく仲買業者を組み込みこんだ水産物フードシステムに着目する必要がある。そこで本研究では、漁業従事者のみではなく、仲買業者や加工業者などアクターを含めたホリスティックな小規模水産業フードシステムに注目し、水産物フードシステムにおける生産から消費までの基本構造と、漁業従事者と関連のある事業者との間にある社会関係資本がどのように機能するのかについて解明する。そして、小規模水産業において安定した食料供給を可能とするレジリアントなフードシステムを構築することにある。
