Outline of Research at the Start

時間とともに消えゆく伝統芸能は、人から人への口伝により、その「わざ」が継承されてきたため、現場は深刻な後継者不足による失伝の危機に瀕している。これを回避するための方策として、様々なデジタル技術を用いた「わざ」の保存による継承支援への期待が高まっている。また、人文学にもオープンサイエンスの視点を取り込む機運が徐々に高まりつつあるものの、無形文化としての芸能分野においては、未だその萌芽にすら至っていない。そこで本研究では、芸能従事者、研究者に加え、伝統芸能を支える重要な存在としての市民の視点も研究構想に取り込み、オープンサイエンスを目指した伝統芸能のビッグデータシステム基盤を構築する。
