Outline of Research at the Start

乳児の卓越した学習メカニズムは，心理学や認知科学，人工知能等で近年さらに注目されている。乳児は，他者からの社会的シグナルに影響される一方で，自身の内部状態にも左右されつつ学習する。前者はナチュラル・ペダゴジー，後者は好奇心駆動型学習の文脈で独立に探究されてきたが，両者を統合する枠組みはない。本研究では，親子の相互作用に着目し，「最適な学習の瞬間」は，乳児の好奇心の状態に沿う形で社会的シグナルが提示され，乳児の内的状態と外的環境の双方から学習の機会が拓かれるときに生じると考え，その検証を試みる。本研究は，発達研究を国際的に推進すると共に，教育・臨床及び機械学習モデルの学習にも示唆を与える。
