Outline of Research at the Start

我々の多くは自分を一つのまとまりのある存在と感じている。自分という感覚はどのように生起するのであろうか？自己感は「これは自分の身体だ」といった即時的な感覚と，「過去と現在の自分はどちらも自分だ」といった長期的な感覚に大別され，それらには共通性が想定されている。しかし，それらは各々に研究され，一つのまとまりのある自己感が生起するメカニズムの解明には至っていない。本研究では，(1)共通原理としての予測と事後推論，(2)共通の神経基盤，(3)異なる自己感の接合，という 3 つの観点から，自己感の生起メカニズムを解明する。
