Outline of Research at the Start

炎症性腸疾患（潰瘍性大腸炎やクローン病）は、腸表面の組織が炎症により大きく損傷する難治性疾患である。現在、薬物治療が主流だが、腸の全ての病変部に薬剤が行き届かず症状が悪化することが問題になっている。本研究では、腸に貼り付き、酵素の作用で病気の悪化の原因となっている活性酸素を除去することができる微粒子（マイクロ酵素パッチ）を用いて、全ての病変部を効果的に治療できる新たな手法を開発する。
