Outline of Research at the Start	永嘉の個々の士大夫の思想の全てが同じ路線に在るわけではない。薛季宣・陳傅良は『老子』『荘子』には比較的好意的であったのに対し、葉適はこれらの道家思想を厳しく批判している。また、薛季宣・陳傅良は『孟子』を高く評価しているが、葉適は『孟子』を含む所謂「道統」思想に懐疑的であったことはよく知られている。これらを見るだけでも、彼等の個別思想には様々な違いがある。本研究では、名族同士の密接な関係を維持していたと指摘されている薛季宣・陳傅良・葉適等の永嘉学派精鋭の思想研究を中心として、永嘉学術という括りに晦まされることなく、その学術の歴史的、地域的広がりを実態的に再検証し掘り下げていくことを目指す。
