Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、ジェンダー視点に立つ中国道教史研究の一つの試みとして、「扶鸞」（ふらん）と呼ばれる降神術と女性の関わりに焦点をあてるものである。扶鸞の起源は女性や子供たちの「迎紫姑」と呼ばれる女性神の信仰にあるが、宋代以降扶鸞の実践は男性文人へとシフトし、儒仏道三教が融合した書承伝統と結びついて発展した。だが地方の基層社会では、扶鸞は女性を中心とした口承伝統と結びつき、現在もなお女性たちのさまざまな宗教的経験を創り出している。本研究は、地方文献と人類学的アプローチから、扶鸞文化の近世から近現代に至る変遷を女性の視点からたどることで、男性中心的視点に偏ったこれまでの扶鸞研究を問い直すことを目指す。
