Outline of Research at the Start	本研究においては、明代に中国を訪れたイエズス会士による言及に始まり、今世紀における欧米の最新思想との対比研究に至る、欧米での陽明学研究の各時代における重要な研究成果を翻訳して見ていくとともに、キリスト教や啓蒙思想、唯心論、そして現象学といった欧米の哲学的伝統の中で、陽明学がどのように捉えられてきたのか、さらにまた、そのような欧米の思想との対比によって、幾多の特徴ある研究が生み出されてきた過程を実証的に分析し、それらの研究成果が、現代の陽明学研究において有している意義を明らかにすることを目標とするものである。
