Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、宗教学領域における死者観念や葬送規範の変容などの分析を踏まえつつ、現代社会において、「なぜ、どのように死者が尊重されるべきか」に関して、多様な価値観や宗教観をもつ人々の間で「議論を可能にし、重なり合う合意に向かうことを可能にする」議論の枠組みを提示することを目的とする。また、哲学的・倫理学的な理論研究と並んで、「実際に現代の人々が抱いている死者規範意識」の実態を、現代の言説分析を通して把握することも試み、そこから抽出される人々の規範意識が、申請者自身が構築する死者倫理の規範形成のための議論との整合しうるかを検証する。
