Outline of Research at the Start

16世紀以降の中国では、宣教師や現地知識人による「西学」の翻訳が盛んに行われた。従来の研究は、西洋のどのような「知識」が伝わったのかという点に注目し、思考や議論（推論）の方法、形式という次元で何が起こったのかについてはほとんど取り上げてこなかった。そこで本研究では、「西学」の主要な部分を占めるスコラ哲学全体の思考や議論の方式をつかさどる論理学に焦点を当てる。17世紀の『名理探』『窮理学』から20世紀の馬相伯『致知浅説』に到るスコラ論理学の専門著訳書、また『聖教雑誌』等の関連記事を調査・分析するほか、新スコラ哲学運動や、近代日本のリギョールらによるスコラ哲学関連著作との連関も視野に入れる。
