Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、アルファベット音名とギリシャ音名、ヘクサコルド音名が交わりながら用いられた西洋の中世・ルネサンス初期の状況を、日本における西洋音楽導入期の音名表記の状況とも比較しながら、音名表記法と音組織構造の関係を探求するものである。７音がオクターヴで循環する音組織構造を端的に示すアルファベット音名表記が成立、継承される中世・ルネサンス期には、平行して様々な音名表記法が用いられるが、それぞれの内包する音組織構造の差異は、音楽そのものがどのように捉えられているのかの違いを示すものでもある。洋楽導入期の日本での音名表記をも比較対象としつつ、音名表記法から音楽がどのように見られてきたのかを探る。
