Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、現在スペインで活躍中の戦争を直接的に体験していない劇作家／演出家たちが、戦争を、戦後の社会を、戦争によるトラウマをいかにして演劇作品のなかで表象しているかを分析する。演劇は小説と違って、舞台の上には常に「いま」があり、そこに役者の身体が存在する。したがって本研究の分析は2つの異なるアプローチによって行う。一つは、戦争をテーマにした戯曲のテキスト分析であり、もう一つは舞台装置、演技、衣装や音楽などの演出面の分析である。身体性という特質を持つ演劇が、過去あるいは現代進行中の戦争をいかに表象し、我々観客に何を感じさせることができるのかを明らかにすることが本研究の目的である。
