Outline of Research at the Start

イタリア、ドイツに加えて、近年もうひとつのオペラ文化圏として注目されてきたフランスにおいて、ヨーロッパを超えて世界のオペラ文化の先導役を果たしたグランド・オペラについて深めていく。具体的には、越境するものとしてのグランド・オペラ、すなわちその生成過程における同時代の他ジャンルの演劇や音楽劇との関係、国境を越えての相互影響関係、さらに世紀後半におけるその影響の広がりなどについて考察していく。
