Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、近現代日本の地域芸能における伝承の在りようを、これまで見過ごされがちであった大衆的な芸能・音楽の影響に注目しながら、芸能や担い手、地域共同体や行政といった、芸能の伝承に関わる芸能内外の関係性から明らかにすることを目指すものである。主に大阪の南河内地域の芸能、および高知の地域芸能を研究対象とし、芸能形態の分析や担い手の意識・行動の変化等の芸能の内側の動きと、地域共同体や教育、行政といった芸能の外側の動きとの相互的な連関を、近代の歴史的な視点から現代の実践的な取り組みに至るまでの継続性と変容のなかで捉え、芸能伝承の実態を総合的に明らかにする。
