Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、地域の公共劇場において多様な住民が参画する演劇実践に着目し、その「参加の構造」を探り、公共劇場における創造事業の課題を明らかにするとともに、地域社会に深く根ざし、地域住民のウェルビーイングに寄与できる劇場「ソーシャリー・エンゲイジド・シアター」の姿を提示することを目指す。具体的には、社会的に弱い立場にある人々や、地域住民が参画して実践される演劇創造について、参加の段階を分析するとともに、演劇実践の目標・期待される成果、上演作品の芸術面の評価、参加者の認識についても把握し、地域住民や当事者が参画する演劇実践の課題と意義を明らかにする。
