| Outline of Research at the Start |
天然資源の枯渇を背景に代替素材を用いた楽器の開発・活用が進むなか、既存の研究ではオリジナル楽器との音響的近似性に重点が置かれ、地域コミュニティにおける代替素材楽器やそのサウンドの社会・文化的意味への視点が欠けている。本研究では、エコ民族音楽学的視点から音響データと民族誌的記述を組み合わせ、製作者、演奏者、聴衆を含む地域コミュニティが代替素材楽器のサウンドに見出す文化的意味や地域アイデンティティ、環境との相互関係を明らかにする。数値データと感覚体験の両面から、代替素材楽器のサウンドと地域アイデンティティとの関係を考察する新たな研究方法を模索し、国内におけるエコ民族音楽学的研究の基礎を築く。
