Outline of Research at the Start	本計画では、植物の「遺伝資源」の収集・保存に関する歴史について、日本の事例をもとに再検討する。これまでの先行研究は「緑の革命」を分析の主軸に据える傾向にあったが、本計画では先行研究でほとんど考慮されてこなかった「栽培植物起源学」の観点から考察する。育種学的関心のみならず、歴史的・文化的関心も含めて分析することにより、遺伝資源史を捉え直し、有用植物と人間社会の関係についての理解を深めたい。
