Outline of Research at the Start

日仏両国で調査・発掘した史資料の精査・分析・考察を通して「生野鉱山寮お雇いフランス技師らによる生野鉱山以外の日本国内鉱山への西洋技術移転と日本の近代化」と「フランス人らから見た明治日本と日本の人々との交流」、「フランス人らを通してフランスの各種学界に与えた日本の影響」について解明し、研彼らの業績を正確に検証する。これを基に、明治初期のフランス人技師による技術移転ならびに日本の近代化を考察する。
