Outline of Research at the Start

日本中世、応永－永享年間（1394-1441）の能役者であり能楽論著述者であった世阿弥の能楽論について、代表者のこれまでの能楽研究や伝書研究の成果を基礎とし、さらに包括的な解明を行う。さらにそれをモデルケースとして、当時の為政者、足利将軍家の周辺から展開していった能楽・立て花・室内装飾等の文化諸ジャンルの相互横断的な伝書研究を行い、その有効な土台を築く。その際、文献学的な方法を基本に置き、伝書類の校訂に堅実な成果を上げると同時に、これらの文化の背景として重要な漢文化等の環境にも注目し、東アジアの国際的な文化史的観点を重視した解釈や関連考察を行うことが、本研究の特徴である。
