Outline of Research at the Start	国際化と情報化が著しく進む現在の学術状況をふまえて、枕草子の資料調査とデータベースの作成に基づく本文研究を推進する。受容者の要請に即した形で時代ごとに変容を遂げてきた枕草子という作品の生成と受容の一様相を明らかにすることで平安文学研究の基盤を堅固なものとし、源氏物語やその他の平安文学とは異なる視座からのアプローチも行い、他の研究分野、および海外における受容研究、女性研究にも資する研究基盤とする。
