Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、8～9世紀を中心とする東アジア漢字文化圏における仏教説話集の比較研究を通じて、思想・宗教・言語の変遷や展開を明らかにすることを目的とする。具体的には、唐代の『金剛般若経集験記』（718年）と、9世紀初頭に成立した日本の『日本霊異記』を対象に、両者の内容や特徴を比較検討する。さらに、両者の前後に成立した他の仏教説話集に見られる冥界観や救済思想、歴史認識、言語的特徴などにも着目し、古代東アジアにおける文化交流の諸相を考察するとともに、東アジア仏教文化の理解を深める一助とする。
