Outline of Research at the Start

従来の日本文学研究において、注釈書類は、文字通り作品を読んで理解するために用いるものとされ、必要に応じ部分的に参照されるにとどまり、その全体像や思想史的意義については留意されることがなかった。また一方で、歴史学の分野で、私撰国史に関する研究はあるが、物語作品の注釈書でありながら、年代記類を中心に多くの歴史記述を引用する『河海抄』が研究対象として注目されることはなかった。そのような状況にあって、本研究は、『源氏物語』注釈書が成り立たせた知の系譜という方向から、歴史認識の生成と、学問、教養の枠組みの継承について問い、中世から幕末までを見通す学際的な視座を提示することを目ざす。
