Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、『うつほ物語』や『源氏物語』などの平安時代の物語によく描かれる天皇・皇太子の後宮の描かれ方について、史上の後宮と比較しながら考察する。特に后妃の「入内」(后妃が天皇・東宮と結婚しその後宮に初めて入ること)や内裏の住まいの問題について重点的に扱う。物語の素材となった史上の出来事を見出すこと、また一方で史実から乖離した物語独特の描かれ方を解明することを目指す。
